Visiting Kenyalang Park for CNY

Like many of you, I was shopping around looking for CNY foods, Snack, cookies, cards, cloths, (chickens, ducks, porks?) and etc… So how different is this year comparing to last year and the year before and the year before that? The holiday mood is moody.

I greet one of the lady boss who sell CD & DVD “Gong Xi Fa Chai”! She responded to me say it would be better for 心想事成！ (xīn xiǎng shì chéng ) Meaning better to dream comes true than “Fa Chai” good wealth! Ah… sometime I just am impressed by businessmen and gal! They are not wrong at all, 2009 is going to be harder than 2008! In fact Q1 of 2008 was still fantastic!

I grew up here so I kinda love this place although there are nicer shopping places around

The 6th days of 2009

First, this is 6! Sick! My boss uses open ended question to identify my characteristic 2 days ago. This therapy is good for one thing and one thing only – are you going or are you not? Obviously, this is the best way to ask everyone to self lay off to save the company’s money. Saves your headache and lengthy paper work.

Anyway, more people will lose their job soon. I have got to worry about my bills, my mom’s monthly medical for her diabetic medicine, my 3 sisters and a brother who is still studying. I’m the family man! I wish my dad is still alive! I think he took a little bit too long on the vacation don’t you think so? (Joking)

Second, on New Year day I when out to with friends and I had a bottle of Heineken. I drink occasionally for special occasion. So this is how I look like… Don’t do what I do! This is inappropriate!

While I am sad + stress + enjoying + space out some time on that table on a beautiful morning of 1st Jan 2009. I still manage to make friends! Ah… life is so much beautiful when we were young!

A quick hello

I want to take this opportunity to wish every one the best of 2008, can’t believe it today is already the first day and 2 hours 24 minutes has passed.

I hope you had achieved your aim for 2007 and you have already had 2008 plans on hands. It’s very important for your 2008 success.

As for me, 2007 was a great, fabulous & kickass year for me. I won tickets for 2 to Gold Coast Australia ( Thanks to Channel [V] ), I had headache, stresses, sadness, loves, happiness, good health (no major sickness), still have got a job, I had career advancement 3 month ago, and most important of all I have grow older and wiser! (but not married *LOL*) I have also spent quite a lot of money on my PC & my time spending on my blog and knowing the great people like you!

I have always love social networking on the internet and I find blogosphere is the most rewarding experience.

My 2008 going to be the most challenging year, I am sure that! I can already feel the pressure over my head now.

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfirtri

After painstaking fasting for nearly a month, Muslim friends and colleague are celebrating the big day! Hari Raya started yesterday and today. Since the second day of Hari Raya falls on Sunday, Monday was also a public holiday for Malaysian.

Most people taking this time of the year to enjoy their holiday (clearing leave) right through the weeks and you will only see them comes smiling to office only the 22nd of October.

You know what I like about being a Malaysian, apart from Malaysian was the world’s safest place on earth? (we do not have any single natural disaster accept flood due to bad sewage system)

Being in a multiracial country, you enjoy the total country stability and FOODS! (hehehe) We have Malay, Indian, Chinese and the native people living with each other. We enjoy each other foods and we respect culture and religion differences (Iban, Bidayuh, Kadazan and etc… I can’t even name them all). We think culture and religion differences before we ACT so not to hurt or disrespect others. We are very compliance I might say 

In Malaysia we celebrate Christmas, Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali for Indian friends, Gawai or Harvest Day for our Native land people (modern native – please don’t imagining people still build houses on trees! This is a normal perception when people talk about Sarawak (Borneo)). However, you don’t have to be afraid of Head Hunters no more… like I said modern! We have high internet service through copper or fiber optics, university, shopping complex, man on orbit and we have what you don’t have… trees! Lot of trees! Some world natural heritages are untouched and we hope it stay there forever!

This year features house would be grandmom’s house of Lenny. I took these photo I thought her house was the best. Houses that I went visiting for Hari Raya; this is the best so far and it deserve a showcase by my blog

Chinese Mid Autumn Festival or Moon Cake Festival

Yesterday was Chinese Mid Autumn Festival or Moon cake Festival. As the name suggest, you will ate lots of moon cake and also you get to play with Lantern. It was fun and brings back some good O’ memories.
