Boulevard Kuching Wong Fei-Hung Theme Yangqin Performance

Boulevard Kuching – A group of young artist giving free yangqin performance to the public on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year here in Kuching.

When we talk about Wong Fei-Hung 黄飞鸿 we would undoubtedly thought of the god of drunken and martial arts guru in Hong Kong film history Jackie Chan & Jet Li. In fact the biggest Wong Fei-Hung identity was the movie’s theme song – for many it was like a national anthem.

I love these beautiful Yangqin 扬琴 instrument, these kids are so inspiring and truly blowing my mind away by their skills. It would be a shame if no one enjoy the art of Yangqin and the talents from this group of young artists.

Halloween ghost on Boulevard City Mega Store

Happy Halloween peep! I got to tell ya – I have a ghostly night. It’s been heavy rains, scary thunder storm and all hell breaks loose when our electric got cut off.

So I spend Halloween with candle light dinner, my Blackberry and my MacBook doing nothing but slept early.

Anyway, here some updates on the Boulevard Shopping Mall in Kuching. While the second phase is under construction the current 3rd floor and rooftops are ready for business. You must at least give it a visit, you will get a little bit of Jusco feels and the air conditioner on top floor was really refreshing and cool! (I mention it because that was really the case! hahahaha wow rooftop! And it’s cool! Not an easy task but yeah, they cool the whole place!)

The 3rd floor they call it Boulevard City Mega Store while the rooftop they call it Sky city. I hope I didn’t get the name wrong after all it already confusing enough! You have got city inside a building? Wow where did that come from?

Boulevard Kuching More shops open

Boulevard Kuching attracts thousand and thousand of people on the weekend. The local are getting excited with more shops open this week. The shopping mood in Kuching have change ever since Boulevard open it door for business and like in Boulevard Miri, Boulevard Kuching is the preferred choice.

Boulevard Hypermarket Kuching

I spend my Christmas going back to Boulevard Kuching for the second time. I didn’t get the chance to window-shop the hypermarket the first time I go. I must admit it is a huge and happening place right now, people are flooding the shopping mall like there’s no tomorrow.

It’s been a week since it opening and the traffic is still a mess. Car parks are very dusty, servicing staffs are looking exhausted thus the no smiling and some merchandise looking untidy and out of stocks.

The hypermarket is huge about 200 hundred thousand square feet. With such a huge space, there are lot of room for almost everything you need from electrical goods to daily consumable products.

Anyway, I have not seen so much of Q up for fast food in Kuching (rarely happen except for soft toys in McD many years ago). I have fun with Roasted Chicken meal at Kenny Roger, truly!

Boulevard Kuching

Two days ago I went to the newly open Shopping mall. Still brand new but soon there would be one more shopping mall coming out soon next year, middle of January hopefully.

At last Kuching have some hope.
