Damai Beach Kuching is one of the many beautiful beaches in Kuching. On a weekday Damai Beach Kuching don’t get much attention but when it come to the weekend Damai Beach Kuching flood with lot of visitors.

The local do not normally wear bikini or anything that too short to reveal their skins – not that they are shy but probably because they don’t like sunburn as much as the westerner do.

Little Fiona Won 2nd place in Singing Competition

She was part of the family the first week she was born. The mom hire my mom-in-law to take care of her 24/7. She was very fond of us and most of the time she do not want to go home.

She is one little persistent baby that do not want to go home. She would cry and cry until every one give up and she won to stay with us for another the and the crying routine winning daily – every time the dad come to our house picking her up he would left our house empty handed.

So we decided she should stay until one day she understand it’s time to go home.

My father-in-law loves to sing and every time he is karaoke’ing Fiona would take the microphone and start babbling and screaming.

My mom-in-law would play children’s song for her every morning while she continue doing her house chores. Of course like every other children, cartoon was her favorite too.

The day Fiona start going home was when mum-in-law start feeling ill. If she was still alive today, she would be so proud today seeing her winning that 2nd place on her very first singing competition.

My works can be very interesting sometime I get to see some very funny moment or some very interesting life. Like this car for example who would have thought the owner would chained it like a dog?

Touring Tua Pek Kong Kuching

Facing Sarawak river “Sungei Sarawak” Tua Pek Kong (大伯公 Tuā-peh-kong) in Kuching, perhaps is one of the oldest Buddhist temple in Kuching Sarawak.

The last time I posted Tua Pek Kong (大伯公 Tuā-peh-kong) some requested more pictures. The caretaker in one of these photo hates photographer.

If you’re a visitor and wishes to find out more information about this temple you can visit Chinese museum across the road. It would be interesting to see some old photos of early Chinese uses this temple for prayer.

A friend of mine Mr. Sim is working with some other peoples to declare Tua Pek Kong (大伯公 Tuā-peh-kong) in Kuching a world heritage.

This is one special cock from Philippine according to the breeder Mr. Bong. Until recently I learned that these birds which breed for only one purpose, fighting, was given vitamins every morning. B complex to be exact.

These birds bath like human too. Mr. Bong would make sure these birds are clean from all type of flea.

Another breeder Mr. Philip says his fighter cocks lives better than his family members. Every morning before he off to work he would caress his fighter cocks. Like Mr. Bong, Mr. Philip would shampoo and fed vitamins to his fighter cocks. Unlike Mr. Bong approaches with livestock vitamin he uses human’s vitamin instead. According to him birds are like human and you should take care of them much like human do.
